The occasion of my friend's 70th birthday. I wanted something different and exciting. Massimo did not disappoint. He arrived with ALL the food stuff in hand and started cooking. The host stood close by and took notes (and now has some fabulour recipes). Massimo put out a blackboard close to the dinner table with the menu inscribed. it consisted two different foccachios with drinks, followed with a salad of oyster mushrooms over arugula leaves, three "tasting" pastas, leg of lamb, eggplant parmigiano, asparagus, and finally, panna cotta. Massimo served each course, entertaining us with information and stories along the way. It was a superb night. Our guests still talk about it! All the best Massimo. I'm busy giving your name out.

The dinner was large and each course seemed to "up the ante" on the previous dish. Massimo brings with him a passion for food and service that is contagious. Although it may have started out simply as a holiday dinner, it slowly graduated into a dining event! Each course surpassed the last in terms of flavour, freshness and originality. And the food just wouldn't be the same without Massimo's animated descriptions of each course. He shared what the dish was made of and from which Italian region the recipe originates.
